Does Trace X work with iPhone?
Trace X is designed to work with Android phones using Google’s Find My Device network. It is not compatible with Apple’s Find My network or the iOS Find My app.
How accurate is the location and what’s the range?
For nearby searches, your phone uses Bluetooth to show proximity and you can make Trace X ring to pinpoint it. For items farther away, Google’s Find My Device network updates the last known location when another Android device passes near it.
What about battery life - Can I replace it?
Yes. Trace X uses a replaceable coin-cell battery. Typical life varies by usage (rings, alerts, temperature), and when it runs low you can swap it in minutes - No tools required.
Is Trace X waterproof?
Trace X is IP66 rated - dust-tight and protected against heavy splashes and rain. It’s great for daily use, bags, keys, and travel, but it shouldn’t be submerged in water.
